Vladivostok - Moscow train tickets

Quite an interesting trip. As the "Russia" train is far more modern and has all the things you would expect in any passenger focussed travel. This would be the preferred train to take for the modern traveller. Which is how I got to Vladivostok by this train. Though being inquisitive I booked the 61 back in 1st class as it was to coincide with my birthday. The train carriage was very quaint as was the twin bedded coupe I was allocated, no room mate as yet. There is no wifi, shower or mod cons on this train and you can see it probably pre dated me.

The beds were comfortable. It was nice to be able to charge devices. The food portions were a bit small.

The train is time-keeping is good. The toilet is clean and keep it daily. The train compartment keeping is clean and sweeping daily, Hot water is provided.
