Tren de Moscú a San Petersburgo

My first experience in Sapsan First Class! Incredible- as if I was in First Class on a long-haul international flight. From the pre-boarding lounge experience to onboard- the comfort of the seats, the amenity kits (including slippers), the beverage and meal service, the professionalism of the on-board team, and their very stylish uniforms. I traveled from St. Petersburg to Moscow in Business Class, which was also very nice... but, easy to be spoiled in First Class!

I really enjoyed the train and even economy class was very comfortable. As western credit cards are sanctioned in Russia i recommend russiantrain.com as they book and issue the tickets very promptly. Yes they are slightly more expensive than RZD but at this time is one of the only ways for a westerner to buy train tickets in advance.
